Pedagogical leader for Børnehaven Sønderholm

Do you want to lead a wonderful kindergarten where you, together with staff and parents, help create the best conditions for children's wellbeing, development and learning?

As of January 1, 2027 or as soon thereafter, Dagtilbud Nibe is seeking a pedagogical leader for Børnehaven Sønderholm. You will have the opportunity to lead a kindergarten with high professional standards, engaged staff and strong relationships with both parents and the local community.

Your role and the job

As the pedagogical leader you will be responsible for the pedagogical development, the collaboration culture and the working environment at Børnehaven Sønderholm. You set a clear direction, involve children, staff, parents and colleagues and create the best possible conditions for the children's daily life.

You work systematically, follow up on agreements and goals, and through a nearby and clear leadership style you will create alignment around common decisions.

Your key tasks as pedagogical leader will be to

• Set the direction for the pedagogical practice based on ICDP, NEST and a strong common view of childhood.
• Further develop a collaborative culture across the three rooms in the kindergarten, where trust, wellbeing, professional development and quality go hand in hand.
• Create alignment through clear expectations, shared responsibility and a continuous focus on the core task.
• Ensure high quality in the pedagogical practice through sparring, reflection and follow-up closely linked to everyday life.
• Be a visible and present leader who is close to practice and the daily life of staff.

• Are a trained pedagogue, preferably with a leadership qualification or motivation to start one.
• Have high ambitions for the children and for the pedagogical quality.
• Can create structure and overview in a daily life with many diverse tasks.
• Are robust and can handle pressured situations with calm and overview.
• Want to exercise leadership close to practice and be visible in daily life.
• Are ready to actively engage in a committed collaboration across Dagtilbud Nibe.
• Can plan your working hours and prioritise in your tasks

You should expect that the leadership role also includes evening work in connection with, among other things, parent meetings, staff meetings and other events.

About your new workplace

Børnehaven Sønderholm is located in Sønderholm as the town’s only kindergarten. Therefore we have a close and natural collaboration with the local community, associations and Sønderholm School.

The kindergarten has a strong local anchoring, and both children, staff and parents contribute to a positive and developmental community. Here you will experience a daily life characterized by engagement, presence and a shared desire to create the best possibilities for all children.
