Danish teacher or student teacher for a maternity leave position from 1 January 2027

Would you like to become a new colleague in a good and welcoming teaching staff, then the opportunity is here. We are seeking a maternity-cover for a Danish teacher from January 1, 2027 to December 2027 with the possibility of extension.

Your main tasks

• Danish, history and art in a 4th grade
• Basis Danish for our basic-level students
• Well-being and learning for our students in collaboration with colleagues.
• Co-creating our efforts on pedagogical hospitality across the whole school.

Your competences

• Teacher education or student teacher from 7th semester.
• A team player who will actively participate in the collegial collaboration
• High professional standards, which you will both rethink and share with your colleagues
• Excellent at creating exciting activities both indoors and outdoors, that challenge and develop the children physically, mentally and socially
• Attention to opportunities for participation for all children
• Engaged, ambitious and curious in your work with teaching and learning

A good local agreement

Salary and employment according to the applicable collective agreement under the principles of local wage formation after agreement with the applicable negotiating organization.

Hiring process and salary

The start date is January 1, 2027.

We expect to hold ongoing recruitment interviews and have additionally booked November 18, 2026 for interviews.

The position is, as a rule, 37 hours and is a maternity-cover.

We offer salary and employment terms according to the collective agreement for teachers etc. in primary and special education in municipalities.

Employment is based on the principles of local wage formation and after agreement with the negotiating organization.

The salary range for the position as a teacher is 37,318 DKK - 46,586 DKK per month before pension for full-time employment (37 hours per week).

The final salary is determined after negotiations between the employer and the trade organization that has bargaining rights in the relevant collective agreement area. Salary depends, among other things, on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
