About the job

Would you like to create a safe and developing everyday life for the youngest children – in your own home? We are seeking engaged and professional day-care providers (dagplejere), who with warm hands, gentle voices and high professionalism will help to create a daily life where the children thrive, develop and feel themselves as an important part of the community. Your educational background is not decisive. The most important is that you have an affirming view of children, a desire to work professionally with children and to develop yourself professionally together with us.

A work life a little beyond the ordinary

As a day-care provider you work from home and have three fixed children around you. This provides an opportunity to create a calm and attentive everyday life, where you can closely follow each child’s development.

You also get great freedom to organize the daily life within the framework we work under. There is room for play in the living room, trips out into the world, a visit to the playground, deepening in a book or just the good moment when nothing else needs to happen than to be together.

And if you have a small child yourself, there is an opportunity to take care of your own child at the same time. This means that you can be close to your own child in the important early years and at the same time be part of a professional work community.

Who are we?

Allerød Daycare consists of day-care providers, a day-care manager and a district manager. Our mission is to create a good child environment and a safe childhood in close cooperation with the parents. We work in a small and homely environment, where we as adults are professional, respectful, welcoming and present in our approach to the children. The children are always our core task.

We work from Allerød Municipality’s Child and Learning perspective as well as the strengthened pedagogical learning plan, where well-being, development, formation and learning are in focus. Child and Youth Policy and child and learning perspective .

You will become part of a professional community where you have the opportunity for sparring and support from both colleagues and pedagogical leaders. As a day-care provider you participate twice a week in full- and half-day playrooms. Here we create good frameworks for child communities, development of social skills and strong relationships – among other things in connection with guest care.
