We are seeking a clinic assistant for a permanent full-time position with a 37-hour work week. Start as soon as possible.

What tasks will you perform?

Patient treatment.

You will have a daily routine with many different tasks. Your primary task will be to assist dental hygienists and specialist dentists. In addition, there will be a number of delegated tasks related to orthodontic treatment that must be carried out independently.

Depending on your experience and qualifications you will receive training before we expect you to handle independent tasks. Other tasks will include intraoral scanning, scheduling appointments and cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Why work with us?

You will be working at the dental clinic located on Brønshøjvej in Brønshøj. The dental clinic encompasses a wide range of expertise. There will be broad collaboration with other clinics in Tandplejen, as well as with external partners.

You will be colleagues with about 25 people, including specialist dentists, dental hygienists and clinic assistants.

As a clinic assistant in Tandplejen in Copenhagen there will be the opportunity to participate in relevant education. In addition there will be both training and a thorough introduction regarding the tasks expected in the role.

Competencies

It would be a clear advantage if you already have experience with tasks and workflows related to patients in orthodontic treatment. This ranges from onboarding patients with material uptake, to supporting patient treatments during the active treatment, on to distributing retention appliances, checking retention patients and discharge of patients.

You should help create an efficient flow in the clinic where there are many active patient treatments ongoing. You should be ready to handle many diverse tasks related to patient treatments in collaboration with both specialist dentists, dental hygienists and clinic assistants. There is an expectation that you can work independently and in a structured way in a sector where there is a high degree of delegated tasks, but always with good support and guidance. You will not be thrown into tasks you cannot handle.

You should expect and thrive in a workday where a certain degree of unpredictability will always be present. We expect you to have a friendly, accommodating and appreciative approach to patients, parents and colleagues.

The majority of the delegated tasks must be carried out within clearly defined limits, and we expect them to be followed. So you must be able to work in a structured way within the already set frameworks.
