When children and young people have special needs, it often takes more than a quick fix. It requires that we understand the individual child’s needs and know how the family’s daily life affects whether the intervention will work. At the same time, the employees who work with the child need a leader who can contribute with professional sparring, create security and show the way even when the intervention becomes complex.

As a team leader at The Health and Social Care Children’s Team , you will be responsible for your own teams and become an important support for the employees who work closely with the children and their families every day.

Leadership close to everyday life

As a team leader you will have personnel responsibility, a central role in the daily coordination and development of our work. You must be able to create structure and follow up on tasks, while also keeping an eye on the people who are part of them.

The position is primarily administrative, and you will spend your daily life at our headquarters in Randers. There will also be tasks outside the office, including with families during start-up meetings, self-checks and network meetings with school, municipality and other relevant partners.

Your specific tasks will include, among others

• Daily operation and leadership of your teams
• Support employees’ well-being through professional sparring and dialogue
• Coordination of and follow-up on interventions and tasks.
• Collaboration with colleagues, families and relevant partners.
• Contribution to ensuring quality and coherence in task execution.
• Identification of development needs and improvement of workflows in collaboration with your colleagues.

What we hope you bring

We are looking for a person with a health- or social-work background who can combine professional understanding with structure, overview and good collaboration skills. You thrive on taking responsibility and setting direction, also when everyday life requires you to prioritise and find solutions along the way.

Experience with leadership is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Part of the Children's Team

In the office, we greet each other, have lunch together and enjoy a good laugh during the day. Here we spar with each other and help when needed. At the same time, we prioritise having space to focus on one’s tasks and to immerse oneself in the work.
