Digitalization Consultant for the Labour Market Department

In the Employment Market Department, we are in the midst of an exciting development where digital solutions and new technologies should support an even better effort for citizens and businesses.

Therefore we are now looking for a digitalisation consultant in a permanent position who can drive development projects, ensure implementation of new solutions and support the operation of existing ones and be a central sparring partner for management and staff.

As a digitalisation consultant you will become part of an organisation with many collaboration interfaces, where you will have the opportunity to shape development and translate ideas into concrete solutions.

About the position

You will play a central role in the work with digital development in the employment area. Your tasks will range from strategic advice and project management to implementation and operational support of IT solutions.

A particular focus area will be to support the use of artificial intelligence (AI), where there is a regulatory basis for it. You will among other things be project manager for the municipality's participation in KL's large-scale project on the use of AI in the employment area.

You will also work further with the implementation of the area's channel strategy, which has been developed through a larger inclusive process, and contribute to the continued development of digital channels and self-service solutions.

The tasks are carried out in close cooperation with the centre management, managers, professional consultants, super users, the municipality's IT department and external suppliers.

Your main tasks will include, among others, to

• drive and coordinate digitisation projects in the employment area
• support the use of AI and act as project manager on relevant AI initiatives
• contribute to the implementation and follow-up of the Employment Area's channel strategy
• advise on the selection of new digital solutions and support implementation and operation
• be system owner for Schultz Fasit in close collaboration with the super-user coordinator
• support administration of users, units and access rights
• coordinate system changes and organisational changes with IT and system suppliers
• contribute to the transition to common municipal access management and framework for access profiles
• ensure compliance regarding contracts, add-on modules and system use
• conduct follow-ups and controls, including random checks of CPR lookups
• contribute to management support, analyses and attention points regarding system support
• coordinate training, e-learning and implementation of new functionalities
• act as a bridge between the employment area, the IT department and system suppliers
• act as system owner for the municipality's use of Candeno in the employment area.

About you

We imagine that you have experience with digitisation, IT support or project management in a public organisation. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of the employment area, but this is not a requirement.

Practical information

The position is placed in Leadership Support & Digitisation, which is part of the Centre for Citizen Service, Services and Digitalisation under the Employment Market Department in Randers Municipality.

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and the principles of local pay setting.
