The Authority Area for Children and Families in Holbæk Municipality is standing with renewed focus and a new direction. There has been investment in the area, clear political support and a multi-year, ambitious development plan with a clear goal: to strengthen quality, governance, well-being and collaboration.

But momentum does not become noticeable improvements by itself. It requires clear and present leadership. Leadership that can create calm without slowing down development and direction without bulldozing. This is where you come in!

As head of the Authority Area for Children and Families, you will be the leader of five specialized teams, including five team leaders. Together you shall create stability, progress and an even stronger common practice in a daily life where children, young people and families need the system to work – also when reality does not go according to plan.

We are therefore looking for a head of department who wants to take on leadership in exactly such a space. A leadership space with gravity, meaning and real responsibility, but also with strong colleagues, short distances from decision to action and a clear ambition to succeed even better. You must be able to see the child, the budget and the organization – and you must be able to speak meaningfully about all three.
