About the job

Would you like to help lift operations to the next level in an organization where responsibility, initiative and quality are essential in everyday life?

We are looking for a distribution coordinator who thrives close to operations and is motivated to create overview, ensure quality and follow up across the organization. The role is central in creating a more uniform and stable operation, where agreements are followed, challenges are handled quickly, and feedback and follow-up are a natural part of daily life.

At dao, good operations means being present, responding in time and working proactively across the organization. We believe in close management, ongoing dialogue, rapid feedback and clear expectations. Small problems should be solved before they become big – and we only succeed when we work as one team.

Overall purpose of the role

As a distribution coordinator you will be an important part of the daily operations and a central link between planning, employees and operations.

You will ensure that daily distribution operates stably and efficiently, while following up on performance, quality, behavior and agreements in everyday work. The role requires an overview, structure and the ability to act quickly and constructively in a fast-paced operation.

In the role of distribution coordinator you will contribute to

  • Better control of vehicles, including usage, condition, damages, compliance with guidelines as well as fuel and energy consumption.
  • Closer follow-up with staff, including attendance, behavior, adherence to procedures and quick handling of deviations.
  • Faster and more frequent feedback as well as corrective actions, before small challenges develop into larger problems.
  • More consistent operations across locations and teams.

Your primary tasks

You will become a central part of the daily operations with responsibility for ensuring structure, stability and progress. The role involves ongoing follow-up on operations, quality and performance as well as close dialogue with employees and partners to ensure clear expectations, consistent execution and rapid handling of deviations.

You should contribute to ensuring that vehicles, processes and daily planning operate effectively and support an operation characterized by quality, accountability and collaboration. At the same time, you are expected to work proactively with follow-up, communication and continuous improvements in daily life.

Working hours will primarily be in the early morning hours, but shifts with late-evening start times may occur. In addition you should expect to participate in a weekend rotation with work every third or fourth weekend.

We imagine that you

  • Have experience from operations, logistics or distribution.
  • Work in a structured manner and follow up on agreements and tasks.
  • Are visible, present and good at building relationships.
  • Thrive on ongoing feedback and follow-up on performance.
  • Take responsibility and act quickly when something deviates.
  • Maintain an overview in a busy and ever-changing daily life.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Focus on quality, collaboration and stable operations.

Why choose dao
