Position 1: Outgoing employee for forests, nature and green areas

• Department

Section for Nature and Environment (Development, Environment and Technology).

• Extent

Full-time 37 hours.

Do you have a passion for green transition, forest establishment and a vibrant local community? In this position you will be part of the professional group Green Operation (7 colleagues) in Team Nature, Green Operation and Co-creation, where biodiversity, new forests, nature management and recreational areas are in the foreground.

Your main tasks

• Development and authority

Be involved in shaping the nature of the future, green oases and forest development projects both the municipality's own and external.

• Create relations and projects

Drive green projects in close dialogue with residents, associations, volunteers and landowners as well as seek funds (fundraising).

• Management and consultations

Prepare maintenance plans for protections, municipal areas and Natura 2000 as well as ensure the nature-green perspective in local plans and hearings.

We are looking for you who

• Are educated as forester and landscape engineer, biologist, landscape architect or have a similar green background.
• Generally have experience with project management.
• Have knowledge of trees, plant communities and nature protection as well as flair for digitisation/GIS.
• Meets people at eye level, thinks in solutions and has a driving license (B).

Position 2: Construction-savvy employee for city parks and sports facilities

• Department

You will become part of 2 directorates: Nature and Projects in Development, Environment and Technology as well as Culture and Leisure Department in Health, Leisure and Care

• Extent

Average 20 hours per week with flexible hours in Culture and Leisure as well as 17 hours in the section for Nature and Projects.

Are you passionate about construction projects, outdoor spaces and a strong club life? In this position you will be part of the Culture and Leisure Department (17 colleagues), where you will have the primary focus on operation, development and construction in the municipality's 11 city parks and 46 outdoor sports facilities.

Your main tasks in Culture and Leisure

• Construction projects

Lead large and medium-sized construction projects – e.g. expansion of sports facilities with new lanes from local plan to finished facility.

• Quality and outdoor spaces

Ensure a high maintenance standard for outdoor furniture, playgrounds, path lighting and artificial turf fields in collaboration with the department's forestry and landscape engineer.

• Dialogue and collaboration

Enter into close and professional dialogue with residents and sports associations about their wishes and needs.

Your tasks in the section for Nature and Environment may, depending on your profile, be

• Development and authority: Be involved in shaping the nature of the future, green oases and forest development projects both the municipality's own and external.
• Create relations and projects: Drive green projects in close dialogue with residents, associations, volunteers and landowners as well as seek funds and fundraising.

We are looking for you who

• Are educated as forester and landscape architect, landscape architect, agronomist technologist, building constructor or have equivalent construction-related experience.
• Have experience with project management, construction management and understanding of outdoor structures in wood, metal and concrete.
• Combine good aesthetic sense with practical understanding, have good written/spoken skills and have a driving license (B).
