Operations Duty at the Control Center

As Operations Guard you have a central role in the operation of our supply deliveries to customers across the coverage area – including electricity, water, heating and batteries. You ensure that the supply is stable and act quickly when operation requires it.

Operations and monitoring of infrastructure

In the role you monitor and act on acute events in the power, water, heating and battery supply networks. You help ensure operation in case of disturbances across electricity distribution plants in both Jutland and Bornholm, as well as on production and distribution plants for district heating and water.

In addition to operating and monitoring the supply and batteries, you are also an important contact person for our customers, especially outside normal opening hours.

24/7 Control Center

You will work in our 24/7 Control Center and work closely with our technician team, who solve tasks in the field and with our customers. With responsibility as the switching supervisor on the 60 kV-, 10 kV- and 0.4 kV electricity supply network, as well as as an operations operator on water and heating supply production plants, you help ensure a stable supply for thousands of customers.

Project work and development

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the supply's development through project work alongside the operation watch task. Here you can play an important role, whether you are a project participant or project manager.

Background and experience

Your background is less important, but we imagine you could be an electrical engineer, electrical installer, machinist engineer or similar. Preferably with experience from operation of technical facilities or control room work.

Crucial is that you can see yourself in shift work, where during the evening and night shifts (after thorough training) you are alone responsible for the operation.

You will join a shift with 8 colleagues and must be able to reach EWII in Kolding within 45 minutes' drive.

As a person you are structured, responsible and focused on following agreed procedures and standards. You manage to stay calm and make well-considered decisions under pressure. At the same time you thrive with independent work, but also have an eye for the team reaching its goals.
