Then you may be the educator or child care assistant we are looking for at Ørnebjerg Leisure and Youth Club.

Are you crazy about sport, outdoor life, baking, creativity – or something entirely different? With us you get the opportunity to bring what you’re good at into the daily pedagogical practice.

We are seeking an educator or child care assistant for 35 hours, who wants to co-create everyday life for around 200 leisure club children – and who at the same time is willing to shape their own activity area or give new life to one of our existing workshops.

Perhaps you bring the children together around sport and movement. Perhaps you’re the type who lights the fire and moves activities outdoors. Maybe you love baking, cooking or creating creative projects.

The most important thing is that you have something you can do and are passionate about – and the desire to share it with children and young people.

Who are we?

Ørnebjerg Leisure and Youth Club has around 200 members from 3rd to 7th grade in the after-school club, with a youth club for older youth from 7th grade and up in the evening hours. We are part of Klub Egedal, which consists of eight clubs in the municipality.

We are centrally located in Ølstykke and offer plenty of opportunities both indoors and outdoors: a creative workshop, a makerspace, a gamer room, a 7th-grade room, a kitchen, a sports hall and an arena with games and movement. Outside we have, among other things, trampolines, a multi-sport court, a fire pit area and green areas – and we are in the process of developing outdoor life further with shelters, raised beds and a new fire environment.

Your role with us

You will become an important part of the pedagogical daily life, where relationships, communities, well-being and the participation of children and young people are central.

At the same time, you get the opportunity to create something that bears your mark – or shape one of our existing workshops so that it becomes a living and exciting place that children want to be a part of.

• Sport and movement – ball games, tournaments, training or new activities
• Outdoor life – fire, nature, shelters, outdoor life and food under the open sky
• Baking and cooking – baking disasters, kitchen communities and larger projects
• Your own idea – perhaps you have something we haven’t yet imagined

Who are you?

You may be a trained educator or a skilled child care assistant with experience, talent or a particular interest that you can translate into good communities and activities.

Practical

The position is 35 hours per week distributed between the after-school club and the youth club.

The working hours mainly fall within the club’s opening hours from 13:30–17:30, and you will have one weekly evening shift until 21:30. There will also be events, trips and camps outside normal working hours.

Start date: 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible.
