At Eventyrhuset we are currently seeking two new adults to help develop children with care, presence and play. We are seeking:

• a qualified pedagogue for the older nursery children
• a pedagogue assistant or pedagogical assistant for the kindergarten group

About Eventyrhuset

Here at Eventyrhuset you become part of an integrated early years provision with three nursery groups and three kindergarten groups. We work based on the principle that children do their best, and that it is the adults who must create the structures and routines that help the children master the challenges they may face.

Everyday life with us

We believe that structure and clarity enable children to manage their everyday lives in the best possible way – we therefore work in a NEST-inspired way, which means we create routines and clear structure through repetition and visual support. Not all children need the same thing – but all children need predictable frameworks.

We place a lot of emphasis on the layout of learning environments, and we constantly strive to develop environments that invite children into play and immersion, and that take the children’s own interests and needs as a starting point. We are DGI certified, which means we know how movement can affect well-being for both children and adults. Therefore we often use our bodies in different ways.

You do not need to have knowledge of these things beforehand – but the willingness to learn is important to us.

In Eventyrhuset we use our large playground daily, and we are happy to go on walks in the local area.

Pedagogue sought for the oldest nursery children

In the middle group there is a lot of collaboration with the nursery and the kindergarten, and the main task is to give the children as good and calm transitions as possible. It is a huge strength if transitions are something that interests you and if you would like to contribute to these.

In this room there are 12 children aged 2.4-3.0 years, whom you, together with your team, will provide with many good and developmentally challenging days in the nursery. We work with the children’s interpersonal relationships through selected activities and play, where they can notice each other.

Through daily routines and fixed activities there is a focus on developing the children’s self-reliance and their familiarity with the kindergarten, so their move here becomes exciting and easier to master when they turn 3 years old. Here you and your team play a decisive role in ensuring the children’s move to the kindergarten is experienced as a success for both the children and their families.

In the room there is a focus on layout and ensuring that learning environments support the children’s needs and interests.

Pedagogue assistant sought for the kindergarten group

In one of our kindergarten groups we are seeking an assistant who, together with a pedagogue and an assistant, will create well-being and communities for our lovely children. In the room, which can accommodate up to 20 children, there is work with communities – there is a lot of singing and daily book reading. We have designed the room into smaller learning environments so that the children can immerse themselves in play and smaller communities.

We have afternoon meals across the rooms in the kindergarten, and the rooms are open for cross-group play – the children’s interpersonal friendships and play relationships have great significance for the children’s well-being and we nurture and support them.

Salary and employment

The application deadline is 6 November.

Both positions start on 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Salary is negotiated according to Ny løn principles. A child and criminal record check will be obtained for employees who are employed in the day care institutions of Herlev Municipality. Herlev Municipality has a smoke-free working environment.
