Rygårdcentret has since September 2026 had five care home departments.

Egelunden 2nd floor is a department with 20 apartments, of which 10 are suitable for younger people with dementia and 10 are aimed at people with varying somatic and cognitive challenges.

Kastanjelunden is a department with 20 apartments for people with varying somatic and cognitive challenges.

Egelunden 2nd floor and Kastanjelunden are therefore seeking engaged relievers to a professionally strong team with a good sense of community.

About the job

As a relief worker you step in when we need extra hands, for example during holidays, days off, public holidays, peak periods, weekends and during festive occasions.

Your main tasks will be a good mix of care and assistance, practical help and, not least, meaningful moments with our residents, so you can support them in shaping the everyday life they want. To succeed, we work closely across professions and departments as well as with the relatives and the individual resident.

Your tasks will include

• Personal care and assistance (help with dressing and undressing, personal hygiene, etc.)
• Practical tasks (tidying up, table setting, light cleaning, dishwashing, etc.)
• Documentation (electronic record of tasks and free-text notes about observations of residents, etc.)
• Delegated health services (medication administration, skincare, compression stockings, etc.)
• Meals (presentation and serving of food, support with eating and pleasant company during meals, etc.)
• Activities and presence (walks, games, conversation and support to maintain an active daily life)

We are looking for you if you

• Are responsible, curious, proactive and empathetic.
• Are reliable, punctual and flexible.
• Are good at communicating and can listen to the individual person.
• Can work independently but are also good at collaborating.
• Are perhaps enrolled in a health education program (e.g. for nurse, social and healthcare assistant or similar)

Rygårdcentret consists of four departments with different target groups and professional profiles. Egelunden 1st floor, Birkelunden and Kastanjelunden each have 20 care home apartments. Poppelunden contains 22 specialized places, while Egelunden 2nd floor has 20 apartments, of which 10 are specially allocated to younger residents with dementia. In total, Rygårdcentret has 102 apartments.
