Electrician at Horsens Regional Hospital

Region Hospital Horsens is in the midst of a comprehensive renovation and expansion of the building stock, which will continue in the coming years, and we are therefore looking for a colleague who has the desire and ability to bring their professional skills into play in a everyday life at a hospital with exciting challenges and development tasks.

Your new everyday life

You will join our electrician team which totals nine employees. Together you will maintain and develop our technical installations in collaboration with 21 close and highly motivated colleagues, regional partners and external service providers.

You will primarily handle tasks related to daily operation and maintenance of the hospital's installations and furnishings. As we at the hospital continuously carry out renovations, relocations and technical improvement projects, you will also to varying degrees become part of these projects.

About you

You have a solid background as an electrician.

As a person you are service-minded, can work independently, are responsible and take ownership of your tasks. You are able to prioritise your tasks and thrive with both routine and more complex tasks.

We expect that you

• Have practical experience with building installations
• Have knowledge of low-voltage installations such as DAS, DECT, fiber and IT installations, as well as ABA and ABDL installations
• If necessary, can participate in on-call duty every 6 weeks, outside normal working hours
• Primarily are motivated to perform ordinary maintenance tasks, both operational and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Have a valid driver's license for a private car
• Can work in MS 365 at a regular user level
• Have a good mood and be quick-witted
• Are effective, systematic, persistent, follow up and close tasks
• Have good collaboration skills, overview and initiative
• Are outgoing and have an inclusive and empathetic approach to your surroundings

About Us

You will become part of Service & Technology with 350 employees. Service & Technology handles tasks across the three campuses Regionshospitalet Horsens, Skanderborg Health House and the Lifestyle Center in Brædstrup. The area of responsibility spans logistics, kitchen, service assistants and technical staff.

The Technical Section is part of Service & Technology. We handle the operation and maintenance of buildings, technical installations, installations and hospital-technical equipment throughout the hospital. This all while the hospital's clinical wards, operating rooms and ambulatory clinics have patients who need treatment.

We have a broad contact surface both internally with other departments at the hospital, regional partners and to the more than hundred external service providers who perform tasks for Regionshospitalet Horsens. To ensure broad technical task coverage, a wide range of different trades are represented in the department, e.g. engineers, chief engineer, building designer, electrician, electronics technician and HVAC technician.

Practical information

The position is available for appointment from December 1, 2026 or by agreement. The working hours are 37 hours per week with flexibility depending on the tasks.

Salary and terms of employment follow the applicable collective agreement between Danish Regions and the relevant trade union.
