Would you design electrical installations and follow your solutions from the initial clarifications to execution and handover? At Sweco you work with existing buildings, where your expertise helps develop installations that function both in everyday use and in the longer term.

You will be part of the Existing Buildings and Specialties division with more than 300 colleagues. We advise on buildings, technical installations and property development with a focus on renovating, improving and extending the life of the existing building stock.

About Renovation & Installations

In Renovation & Installations we work, among others, for Novo Nordisk, DTU, Copenhagen Airport, the Capital Region, DR and ATP Ejendomme. The tasks span widely, and you will have the opportunity to work with different buildings, technical challenges and customer needs.

We work closely across disciplines so that the electrical installations are part of an overall solution that takes into account both the building and its operation.

Your upcoming team

You will become part of an electrical team with 8 colleagues with different professional backgrounds. Here, sparring and knowledge sharing are part of everyday life, and you have colleagues to discuss calculations, solution choices and practical questions with.

The team is growing and works with advisory, design, renovation, discipline project management, technical construction management, supervision and quality assurance. It provides the opportunity to develop in the direction that fits your expertise and interests.

Your role

As an electrical engineer you translate the customer's needs into electrical solutions in close collaboration with project managers, colleagues and other disciplines. You are involved from the early clarifications to execution and handover and contribute to ensuring that the solutions can be implemented and function in practice.

Your tasks will include

• advise customers about needs, solutions and priorities
• design electrical installations and prepare calculations and technical descriptions
• coordinate solutions and interfaces with other disciplines
• participate in meetings with customers, contractors and partners
• follow up on quality and technical solutions during design and execution

You will be responsible for your own professional tasks with sparring from the team. If you are interested in discipline project management or larger project responsibility, there is an opportunity to develop in that direction as your experience grows.

Your professional profile

You have experience with electrical installations in buildings and can work independently on your tasks. You investigate issues, assess solution options and seek sparring when more perspectives are needed.

You work in a structured manner and see your tasks through to the end. In collaboration with customers and colleagues you listen to needs and make your professional recommendations understandable. You communicate clearly in Danish, both verbally and in writing.

We place emphasis on that you

• have a relevant education as electrical engineer, electrical installer, machinist engineer or equivalent
• have experience with lighting and power as well as panels and preferably familiarity with CTS/BMS
• have knowledge of DS/HD 60364 and how to prepare technical descriptions based on Molio/BIPS
• have experience with relevant calculation tools, such as ABBdoc, DIALux, SIMARIS or similar
• want to develop your professional skills and contribute with knowledge and ideas in the team

You do not need to match all points or know all our tools from the start. The most important is that you have an electrical engineering foundation, take responsibility for your tasks and are curious to develop solutions together with others.
