About the job

Do you want to help make a difference within emergency preparedness and information security – and thus help ensure that the Assessment Authority stands strong in a time when security, resilience and emergency preparedness are more important than ever? Then you may be one of our new colleagues in Security and Emergency Preparedness.

We are looking for a colleague for a generalist position within emergency preparedness with the possibility of also working with other areas of the information security agenda. You will have the opportunity to develop your competencies within crisis preparedness, IT preparedness and emergency planning, among other things. You do not need to know it all, but it is important that you have extensive knowledge of and experience from another government organization with security and emergency preparedness, and would like to help ensure that the Assessment Authority stands strong in the emergency preparedness area.

About the Assessment Authority

The Assessment Authority must ensure fair property assessments and correct property taxation of all properties in Denmark. The Assessment Authority is therefore responsible for ensuring a cohesive process in property assessment and property taxation – from data collection and case processing of the property assessment and the basis for taxation to the dissemination and explanation of the property value and property taxation to the individual homeowner.

This places high demands on our ability to protect data, systems, processes and physical assets – and on our ability to handle situations where things do not go as planned.

About the Security and Emergency Preparedness Office

In the Security and Emergency Preparedness Office we work with information security, emergency preparedness and data protection. We support the organization with advisory services, risk assessments, awareness, compliance and implementation of security requirements, just as we strive to ensure a strong and well-functioning crisis and IT preparedness. We have a strong professional environment with room for both specialists and colleagues who are building their professional skills.

We have a good and informal tone, where humor and high spirits are highly valued. Even though we can be busy at times, we help each other, pull together and take pride in making it fun to go to work.

Your tasks

As an emergency preparedness coordinator you will be part of the work to maintain and develop the Assessment Authority’s crisis and IT preparedness. It is a generalist position, and you therefore do not necessarily need to have specialist knowledge or many years of experience with emergency preparedness and information security. The most important is that you are motivated to work in a structured way with preparedness, coordination and development of the organization’s ability to handle crises and operational disruptions, etc.

Your tasks may include

  • Advise and facilitate the work in and around the Assessment Authority’s crisis room
  • Maintain and develop concepts for preparedness, including crisis preparedness and IT preparedness
  • Contribute to the work with IT preparedness and crisis preparedness, including emergency plans
  • Prepare, update and maintain emergency plans
  • Plan, conduct and follow up on emergency drills
  • Update and maintain the emergency plan and related annexes
  • Contribute to the work with physical security and environmental security
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Tax Administration and with other government authorities on the emergency agenda
  • Update and maintain relevant SoA controls
  • Contribute to the coordination and development of the emergency preparedness area in the Assessment Authority/Tax Administration

You will work closely with more experienced colleagues and have the opportunity to build a broad understanding of both crisis preparedness, IT preparedness and security in a large public organization.

Your profile

We imagine that you have a relevant higher education or other relevant background.

We imagine that you may be at the beginning of your career or come with experience from another area where you have worked with preparedness, information security, coordination, planning, administration, projects or similar.

The most important is that you want to learn about the preparedness area and can create structure and progress in the tasks.

We place emphasis on the following

  • are analytical and structured
  • can create overview and follow up on promises and tasks
  • have an eye for both details and connections
  • have good collaboration skills and contribute to achieving common goals
  • can communicate clearly both in writing and orally
  • are curious and eager to learn
  • can operate in an organization with many stakeholders and different professional backgrounds
  • take responsibility for your tasks and follow them through

We do not expect you to know everything from day one. On the other hand, we expect you to have the drive, courage and willingness to learn a large organization and a comprehensive system and security landscape.

Part of a strong professional network

You will collaborate and build networks with other information security and emergency preparedness professionals in the Tax and Growth Ministry's group, and across other government authorities. You will also become part of a department where we work closely together on security and emergency preparedness. We support each other, share knowledge and help each other find solutions to the challenges we face.

Contact and employment terms

Please submit your application with CV and diploma via the link “Apply for the position” no later than 4 November 2026.

We expect to hold interviews in weeks 46 and 47.
