Emergency Preparedness Specialist - Transform data, reporting and analyses into an effective corporate emergency preparedness

How do you create an overview of a large organization's emergency preparedness? How do you ensure that management and relevant decision-makers have the right basis to prioritize? And how do you translate data, experiences, and threat pictures into policies and frameworks that work in practice?

These are some of the questions you will work with as an Emergency Preparedness Specialist at Andel.

As our new Emergency Preparedness Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, standardizing, maintaining, and delivering reporting on emergency preparedness and security to various organizational levels in the group.

You will play a central role in our work with emergency preparedness and security, which can affect critical infrastructure and customer solutions.

As part of our new emergency preparedness strategy, we are looking for a new colleague who will primarily focus on the following cross-group task:

• Standardization of cross-cutting reporting
• collecting and structuring data and information about the group's emergency preparedness
• developing and maintaining reporting, KPIs, and management information
• analyzing data and identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• preparing decision papers, status reporting, and presentations to management and relevant forums
• contributing to the development and maintenance of policies, principles, and governance for the group’s emergency preparedness
• coordinating input and creating a common structure across business areas and stakeholders
• contributing to continuously professionalizing and further developing the group's emergency preparedness work.

As we are a small team, it is important that you have an understanding of the other tasks in Group Emergency Preparedness (emergency plans, risk and vulnerability analyses, and threat pictures/assessments) so we can help and spar with one another.

A newly established team focusing on emergency preparedness for the entire Andel group

Andel Group Emergency Preparedness is an “umbrella” for Andel group’s various emergency preparedness and security functions and should ensure standardization, effective collaboration, and cross-group preparedness.

You will become part of a newly formed team consisting of your manager, a project lead, and 3 emergency preparedness specialists besides yourself. You will therefore be an essential part of building the new function from the ground up and have a strong influence on your tasks and the strategy that will lead to effective preparedness across the group.

As a team, we are successful when we manage to create cross-cutting ownership for emergency preparedness and security and ensure an effective cross-group emergency preparedness organization.

The Group Emergency Preparedness tasks include, among others

• Prepare, update, and quality-assure emergency plans and instructions.
• Conduct risk assessments, scenario analyses, and vulnerability identification.
• Coordinate exercises, tests, and training programs for employees and management.
• Support incident management and ensure systematic learning after events.
• Collaborate with authorities, industry communities, and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with laws and standards within critical infrastructure and the energy sector.
• Collect, analyze, and assess intelligence information from relevant national and international sources.
• Monitor trends, vulnerabilities, and geopolitical factors that may affect the company’s risk profile.
• Communicate complex intelligence data in a clear and actionable format to management and relevant departments.

There is the possibility to work from our locations in Svinninge and Virum, and in addition there is flexibility for remote work by agreement with your immediate manager.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have experience with reporting, risk management, compliance, governance, or a related area. Your educational background can vary. The most important is that you can work methodically with complex problems and communicate them so that others can translate them into action.
