Energy advisor for district heating customers

Would you like a customer-focused job in a company where energy, environment and sustainability are particularly high on the agenda?

HOFOR is currently investing massively in large heat pumps, which can affect heating installations in the Copenhagen properties. We see demand for what each property or business can do to achieve lower energy consumption for the benefit of economy, environment and climate, and we are therefore looking for a new colleague who can advise customers and help them adapt their buildings to future district heating.

Advisory services in heating, water and energy efficiency

As our new energy advisor you will have a diverse everyday work. You will both visit customers and have days at the office where you, among other things, prepare reports that give customers a clear basis for where improvements can be made to achieve the desired energy savings.

In addition, your tasks include

• Provide energy advisory to our district heating customers focusing on the heating plant, primarily larger properties
• Motivate the customer to implement improvements in the property's heating plant
• Advise on other consumption, e.g., water and water savings

You will have a flexible workday, with the opportunity to plan your tasks to suit both you and the customer.

You are customer-oriented and have experience with heating and energy systems

Your educational background is not as relevant, however you have good communication and relational skills and can explain – and persuade – customers of the value of carrying out the necessary renovations and improvements. You are results-oriented and can create momentum with customers, and you thrive on following your efforts through to the end and ensuring that results are documented in relevant systems.

In addition

• Do you understand the customers' situation and can build good relationships
• Do you thrive in cross-functional collaboration in a large organization like HOFOR
• Do you have experience with fault finding and optimization of heat plants
• Do you know what creates good cooling in a heating system and are familiar with concepts such as Kv value and differential pressure
• Are you used to adjusting heat curves in different climate states
• Have you worked with heating and energy installations and perhaps also with data analysis
• Do you have a valid driver's license for a passenger car, category B, so you can get around the city and visit our customers - we provide a company car that can be used during working hours
• If you have experience with Fjernkøl, that is an advantage but not a requirement.

The corporate language is Danish, which you master in both writing and speaking.
