Are you strong in both finance and Business Central?

On behalf of NordicWorkflow we are seeking an experienced Business Central consultant who is passionate about combining accounting, business processes and IT.

As a Business Central consultant you will have a central role in their client projects with professional responsibility for the financial track and the functional setup of Business Central.

You will act as a link between the client’s finance function and our technical team. You will identify the client’s needs, advise on the solution and perform the necessary setup in Business Central yourself.

Your primary tasks will be to

• Implement and configure Business Central at customers.
• Set up financials, chart of accounts, dimensions, VAT, currency, debtors, creditors and banking.
• Work with bookkeeping, reconciliations, controlling, periodization and monthly closing.
• Analyze processes and identify opportunities for automation.
• Handle data, migration, testing and go-live.
• Advise on standard functionality, integrations and potential extensions.
• Document the solution and ensure a smooth handover to the customer’s daily operations.

You can and dare to take responsibility for a Business Central implementation from the initial clarifications to a fully configured solution that works in the customer’s everyday life. You understand the economics behind the system and can work with bookkeeping, reconciliations and monthly closing yourself.

You work closely with project managers, developers and integration specialists and get the opportunity to follow your solutions all the way from idea to implementation.

Qualifications and competencies

You have a solid accounting background and experience with independently implementing and configuring Business Central.

Your background could be, for example, as a financial controller, person responsible for accounting, auditor or financial consultant, supplemented with experience in Business Central.

We particularly emphasize that you

• Have experience with Business Central implementations and functional setup.
• Understand the relationship between accounting, processes and IT.
• Can drive a task from needs assessment to go-live.
• Work in a structured way and have an eye for data, quality and documentation.
• Communicate confidently with both finance functions, management and developers.
• Thrive in a advisory role with close customer contact.

Experience with Continia, NAV/older BC solutions, multiple companies and automation of financial processes is an advantage.
