Experienced small engine mechanic sought for Kestrup Smede- & Maskinforretning ApS

Kestrup Smede- & Maskinforretning ApS is seeking an experienced and quality-conscious small engine mechanic for a full-time position of 37 hours per week with commencement as soon as possible.

We are looking for an employee who has a steady hand, can take responsibility for their own tasks and has solid professional experience with repair and maintenance of small machines.

Your duties

As a small engine mechanic you will be an important part of the workshop's daily operations, where you must be able to independently handle various repair and service tasks.

Your primary tasks will be

• Troubleshooting, repair and servicing of small machines for garden and park use.
• Repair and maintenance of chainsaws, hedge trimmers, brush cutters, lawn mowers, garden tractors and similar machines.
• Repair and servicing of other mechanical equipment for use in private gardens.
• Independent diagnostic and solution of mechanical problems.
• Ordering spare parts and necessary components for repairs.
• Planning and execution of your own tasks with focus on quality and efficiency.

We expect that you

• Have solid professional experience with repair and servicing of garden and park machines or similar small machines.
• Have a good mechanical overview and are strong in troubleshooting.
• Can work independently and make professional decisions without ongoing instruction.
• Have experience in finding and ordering the necessary spare parts yourself.
• Are responsible, solution-oriented and quality-conscious.
• Can speak and understand Danish.
• Have a category B driving license.
• Can handle the practical and physically demanding tasks that naturally come with workshop work.

It is not a requirement that you have a specific mechanic education, if you otherwise have the necessary verifiable professional experience.

Note

Experience in repairing your own garden machines as a hobby is not sufficient. We are seeking an employee who has previously worked professionally with this type of machines and who is used to independently performing both servicing and repairs.
