As an ERP Consultant in Finance IT Services you work with Business Central implementations, facilitate process workshops and design digital solutions that transform the way companies run their finance function. In practice this means our approach is configuration and optimization within standard, rather than intensive customization and development. As an ERP Consultant you will therefore engage with the most interesting aspects of process optimization and system implementation when you collaborate with our customers to upgrade their ERP system and ensure value realization.

Tasks vary depending on the clients, but your primary area of work will be in our ERP department, including setup, configuration and delivery management.

Your day-to-day as an ERP Consultant

From your first day at work you will work as a consultant on client assignments.

Based on the client’s needs as well as your experience and competencies, the tasks will typically involve:

• Business Central implementations: Participating in projects from pre-analysis to go-live, where you configure Business Central and partner solutions such as Continia – you become an expert in the system’s modules and can set up extensions and configuration tables
• Workshop facilitation: Participating in process workshops with the client’s key personnel about current and future workflows
• Project management: Being part of the project team and contributing to planning, structuring, risk mitigation, project documentation and ensuring smaller deliverables
• Requirements specifications: Understanding and documenting use cases and requirement specifications in collaboration with the client
• Digital solutions: Design and development of digital solutions to automate processes together with skilled colleagues using for example Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate

Your background and qualifications

We expect you to have a solid background in finance with operational experience from ERP systems as well as an interest in working as a consultant and actively contributing to project teams.

We are looking for you who

• Have 3+ years of experience either from a finance function – e.g. as an auditor, controller, finance business partner or from an ERP house as an ERP consultant, developer or project manager blended with relevant finance experience
• Have knowledge of Business Central and relevant automation solutions, e.g. Continia
• Are analytically strong with an interest in working with numbers, finance and data
• Are able to build relationships and communicate with stakeholders across the organization
