Experienced accounting assistant sought for part-time position at Clemco Denmark A/S

At Clemco Denmark we are currently seeking an experienced finance professional for our finance department in Skanderborg. We are looking for a person who has a good grasp of the accounting discipline, and who wants to become an important part of our finance function.

We imagine you have several years of experience from a finance department, an auditing firm or similar, and that you have an eye for detail and have built up a solid practical understanding of bookkeeping and financial tasks through your professional career.

A central role in Clemco Denmark

Our finance department has a wide interface with all departments, and you therefore get a central role in the company. You know the day-to-day of an accounting department, and you know it can offer many different types of accounting and financial tasks – including those that weren’t in the calendar.

You will work closely with our controller, who places great emphasis on high professionalism and good sparring in daily work.

Your tasks

Your concrete tasks will among other things be

• Accounts payable management and ongoing reconciliations
• Financial bookkeeping and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Recording of incoming and outgoing payments
• Debtor management, including account statements and dunning procedures
• Recording and handling of supplier purchase invoices
• Travel reimbursements
• Maintenance and updating of fixed asset register
• Monthly and annual accounts
• Other finance and accounting tasks that naturally belong to a small business finance function

We of course expect you to be able to handle the tasks independently. And it is also important to us that you have the professional foundation necessary to become an active part of our finance department, our company as a whole, and our collegial community.

We imagine that you

• Have several years of practical experience with bookkeeping and accounting
• Have a good and broad understanding of finance and accounting processes
• Are used to working independently
• Have an eye for detail
• Are structured and have a good overview
• Can see when something doesn’t look right
• Thrive on sparring with others and sharing your experience
• Have a natural interest in ensuring the finance function works well

The position is initially 25 hours per week.
