About the job

Center for Alkohol- og Stofbehandling (CAS) is an interdisciplinary treatment center with its own authority. We offer a wide range of treatment options within both the Health Act § 141 and 142 as well as the Social Services Act § 101.

We are a service in development, and it is important that you thrive in development and change. We are facing a move in the first quarter of 2027, just as we continuously work to adjust and optimize our treatment pathways and our organization.

Organizationally we are in a process of establishing new interdisciplinary teams. Thus far our treatment efforts have been organized in a health-care team and two social-care teams. In connection with the planned relocation we will create two interdisciplinary teams across health- and social-care providers, with social workers attached to each team.

This is a major organizational change, of which you will become a part, just as you will be an active player in creating even better holistic and interdisciplinary treatment processes and interventions for our citizens. Until the new interdisciplinary organization is in place, you will primarily be attached to our medical offerings, but you will also solve tasks across our social-care and medical efforts.

Interdisciplinarity and the collaboration between health-care interventions and social-care interventions in CAS concerning the individual citizen and our treatment offerings are generally something we would like to become even better at. Therefore it is important to us that you see collaboration and the use of others' professionalities as a natural part of your work.

About the position

The position entails a wide range of social worker tasks, and you will work with tasks relating to both young people under 18, young adults between 18 and 25, and citizens over 25.

CAS uses the coordinating action plan as a fixed tool in citizen cases, where there is collaboration with other municipal or regional support and treatment efforts around a citizen. We also highly value external interdisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration, as many of the citizens we help beyond the substance issues have challenges that call for other support and treatment efforts.

Social worker tasks at CAS are diverse and often also characterized by the complexity that exists in both our legislative areas and in the individual citizen cases. You should therefore also be prepared to continually participate in developing and strengthening the social worker function at CAS.

As part of the task, there will be systematic follow-up of citizens who are in treatment with external providers. You will help build and ensure quality of this effort in collaboration, including collaboration with our administration.

Examples of tasks

  • Diverse social worker tasks (both administrative and directly citizen-facing tasks)
  • Diverse tasks in connection with the authority task in CAS.
  • Tasks related to our open advisory service and our telephone advisory service
  • Tasks related to establishing collaboration and case coordination with other actors in individual cases (e.g., in cases where 24-hour treatment has been granted as part of the treatment effort) and in cross-municipal efforts where CAS is represented.
  • Participation in various network groups and cross-cutting collaboration meetings.
  • Systematic follow-up of citizens in external programs in collaboration with our administration.

Your professional and personal profile

  • You are a trained social worker with several years of experience and with broad knowledge of and interest in social legislation
  • If you have experience with the substance area it is an advantage.
  • You also preferably have experience with the authorities role.
  • You have experience with and thrive in interdisciplinary collaboration with many different internal and external partners and are known as a person who is easy to collaborate with.
  • You have a sharp sense of what you can contribute specifically as a social worker.
  • You are professionally ambitious, curious and engaged in all you do
  • You thrive with varied tasks and a daily life that is variable and at times busy
  • You work structured and independently and have good documentation skills

With us you will meet

  • Ambitious colleagues with high professional standards, and a workplace where we also value a down-to-earth tone with room for humor.
  • Exciting and varied tasks and a high degree of influence on your own daily life.
  • A dynamic workplace that places a high value on ongoing development of our treatment offerings.
  • Influence on the development of the workplace and an expectation that you actively will contribute to maintaining a good and strong work environment and well-being in CAS.

Practical

We offer flex time, but you should expect at least one longer working day on Monday or Thursday – until 7 pm – weekly, since some of our treatment activities take place late afternoon/evening.

The position is 37 hours/week with employment starting 1.12.2026.

Salary and employment terms are according to applicable collective agreement. We note that a child and criminal background check will be obtained in connection with employment, just as we also obtain references before an employment offer.

You can find further information about CAS and our treatment offerings on our website http://www.cas.roskilde.dk

If you do not find answers to your questions there, you are welcome to contact our social work coordinator, Lars, tel. 4031 3771 or our health care coordinator, Iben, tel. 2174 6764.

The application deadline is Friday 23 October 2026, at 8.00.

We expect to hold employment interviews on Monday 26 or Tuesday 27 October.

We look forward to hearing from you!
