Fårevejle Kirkebo seeks a qualified pedagogical worker

Professionalism, community and room to make a difference

At Fårevejle Kirkebo we believe that every person has resources, opportunities and potential for development – for life.

We are seeking a trained pedagogical staff member who is passionate about special education, meaningful relationships and creating a daily life with development, security and joy.

The position is a minimum of 32 hours per week – preferably 37 hours – with start as soon as possible.

A job with meaning, professionalism and the human being at the center

Fårevejle Kirkebo is a housing and development house for young adults with various physical and cognitive disabilities.

With us no day is the same. The everyday life includes both small progress, big experiences and the moments where a good relationship makes all the difference.

Our pedagogical foundation is based on neuropedagogy and narrative special pedagogy , where we base it on the individual’s resources, prerequisites and possibilities. We work purposefully with development, communication and self-determination – always with respect for the individual.

You will become part of a strong multidisciplinary community where we share knowledge, challenge each other professionally and tackle the tasks together.

Who are you?

We imagine that you

• Are a trained pedagogue or have another relevant pedagogical education.
• Have experience with or knowledge of our target group and preferably epilepsy.
• Can translate your pedagogical professional skills into action in daily life.
• Work in a structured, reflective way with an eye for the individual’s needs and resources.
• Are curious, engaged and thrive in interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Meet both residents and colleagues with respect and warmth – and want to learn new things and develop yourself together with others.

What can you look forward to with us?

• A thorough introduction so you get off to a good start.
• Internal training in neuro-narrative pedagogy.
• A professional environment with room for sparring, reflection and development.
• A varied everyday life where you have the opportunity to put your skills and ideas into play.
• A strong collegial community where we help each other and have room for both professional discussions and good laughs.
• A work schedule with mixed day and evening shifts and a weekend shift every 4 weeks.

We believe that good relationships and high professionalism are prerequisites for each other – and together they create the foundation for development and quality of life 💛
