Facility Manager for building the Group's real estate function

Do you want to lead the establishment of a new real estate function in one of Denmark's largest construction groups?

The group currently owns properties and facilities across Denmark, Germany and Ireland valued at around DKK 200 million, where the ambition is to bring the real estate area together into a new shared function directly under management.

As a Facility Manager you will be the driving force behind this transformation. You will establish the structures and processes that ensure professional operations and development, while at the same time acting as a strategic sparring partner. You will play a central role in a family-owned company with short decision paths and a high degree of autonomy, where you can truly set the direction.

Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for both operations and the business development of the portfolio. Your focus areas are to:

• Ensure stable operation through maintenance of buildings, facilities and technical installations
• Drive energy optimization and ensure sustainable property management across the group
• Manage the finances with responsibility for budgets, investments and costs
• Create strong supplier collaborations and identify commercial opportunities

You master the balance between strategic analysis and practical execution and roll up your sleeves when required.

Success is measured by your ability to establish a well-functioning real estate function that creates real value across the group. This happens through stable and efficient operations, structured maintenance, reduced operating costs and the development of strategies that support Arkil’s growth.

Who are you?

You are motivated by building up and thrive at the intersection of strategy and operations. We imagine that you have:

• Solid technical understanding of building operation and installations.
• Experience with technical operations, budget management, compliance and planned maintenance.
• A structured, proactive and communicative approach.
• A craft-based background, preferably supplemented with theoretical knowledge such as a mechanical engineer, building designer, engineer or similar.
