Children and parents in the town of Ringe need more home-based daycare providers. We are short on spaces and therefore we are looking for you who dream of a free and independent job.

You work in your own home

• You are so lucky to work from home, which provides a very good balance between work and family life.
• You save time and travel costs to and from work.
• You have the opportunity to care for your own child under 2 years and 11 months if both child and parents can thrive with it
• You will become part of a large collegial network, even though you work in your own home.
• We expect space for play and learning in your home, not necessarily a room.

We expect that you

• Plan your workday together with the children, so the activities are based on their interests.
• Can create a everyday life that inspires and motivates the children to play and learn.
• Have a home with good spaces for play and learning – both indoors and outdoors.
• Can establish a good parent collaboration based on involvement, dialogue and trust.
• Can have a reflective view on yourself and your professional practice in the work.
• Participate in a playroom group with colleagues outside your own home once every 14 days.
• Will engage in the work with the pedagogical curricula.

About the job

• The work as a home-based daycare provider involves working hours that can be in the time frame from 6:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Example of a working week may look like this: 06:15-16:00 Monday-Thursday,

and 06:15-15:15 Friday.

• You will become part of a network group of 3-4 home-based daycare providers who meet once every 14 days in a playroom.
• You will join a good working community with your home-based daycare colleagues and in close collaboration with the team leaders, where we are united in developing a professional care offering for the youngest children.

Terms of employment

• Full-time position
• You accrue ½ day off per month.
• We obtain criminal and child attestations upon hire.
• Salary and employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement (FOA).
• The base salary as of 01.01.2026 is kr. 329,331.00 + pension (annually). As a home-based daycare provider you receive a tax deduction of 60% of the salary after AM and ATP contributions to cover expenses for the children’s meals and maintenance of the home.
• Commencement is expected January 1, 2027
