Family Office Banker

Do you want to work closely with some of Denmark's most complex fortunes – and gain an unusually broad entry into the world of finance?

We are seeking a motivated Family Office Banker for Danske Bank's Family Office team. You will be based at our new headquarters in Copenhagen , and become part of a dynamic environment with colleagues from across the bank.

About the role

Our clients are families and single- and multi-family offices with needs that span investments, financing, operations, ownership and generations.

As part of the team you will be a central link between the client and specialists across the bank – including Asset Management, Markets, Illiquid Alternatives, Corporate Finance, Credit Advisory, Business Customers, tax and wealth planning.

In daily work you will typically work closely with a senior banker and participate in dialogues with the CEO/CIO and other key decision-makers in the family's Family Office. You will therefore gain early insight into the clients' overall financial decisions and help translate complex needs into concrete solutions across the bank.

You will, among other things,

• Build relationships with Danish family offices and their decision-makers
• Participate in client and business development meetings together with senior bankers
• Analyse fortunes, portfolios, capital structures and financing options
• Prepare presentations, pitches and decision briefs
• Drive coordination of advisory across the bank's specialist areas
• Work on topics such as Private Equity, capital markets, financing, succession and the establishment of family offices with gradually increasing responsibility

Who are you?

You are likely a recent graduate or have a few years of relevant experience from e.g. Banking, Asset Management, Corporate Finance, Audit, Consulting or another financial role.

We imagine that you

• Have a master's degree in finance, economics or a related field
• Are strongly analytical and can translate complex issues into clear recommendations
• Have a genuine interest in investments, companies and financial markets
• Thrive in relationships with both clients and specialists
• Can communicate clearly in Danish and English
• Have good skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Are a diligent user of AI, but understand how to critically evaluate the output

You will be part of a specialized team with experienced professionals from, among others, Markets, Corporate Banking, law, private banking and alternative investments. You will get early responsibility, close client contact and the opportunity to build a solid network across Danske Bank.

You will work from our new headquarters on Bernstorffsgade in Copenhagen with a hybrid working arrangement and will typically be in the office 3-4 days a week to support collaboration and knowledge sharing.
