Foreningen Samværd seeks communications officer

Can you communicate the good stories across media in an easy and playful language? And at the same time manage a website and a newsletter? Then maybe you are the one we seek as our new communications manager.

Samværd is a small association in big development, so you should enjoy a daily life where there is little time from thought to action, and where you must find creative solutions to varied tasks.

At the same time we are an association where everyone pulls together, and we help each other to reach our goals.

Your tasks will include

• Communicate the good stories from Samværd across social media, website and newsletters
• Continuously develop and adjust the communications strategy
• Take photos and videos of Samværd's initiatives
• Write, develop and send newsletters
• Maintain and update the website
• Copy editing and copy work
• Graphic work in Canva
• Write press releases and contact the press
• Communicate Samværd's results and stories from partners

About you

You don't need to be an expert in everything, but you should be able to work independently with various channels, digital content and graphic design – and be eager to dive into new formats and challenges.

We imagine, for example, that you

• have a journalism or communications education
• have experience with planning and producing content for many media platforms
• have good writing skills and can film and take pictures at a good level
• are relationally competent, curious and collaborative
• are structured and work creatively – also when things move fast
• can uncover and spot the good story, act on it efficiently and get it out into the world
• …and it's not a must, but an advantage to have knowledge of the NGO world

About the Samværd association

Samværd is a nonprofit association whose purpose is to create joy of life, companionship and community across generations. We believe in the value of meeting across ages, because it makes us all wiser and happier with life. When we build bridges between generations, we meet through a common third thing - such as music and play, communal meals or something entirely different.

The position is fixed-term until the end of 2029 and is approximately 32 hours per week.

Employment is in accordance with the current collective agreement. Salary is negotiated based on qualifications.

The start date is February 1, 2027.
