Freelance Delphi Developer, Aarhus

For our client, a financial company, we are seeking an experienced consultant for development tasks in the client's debt-collection area. The consultant should possess strong competencies in Delphi development and is expected to contribute autonomously to further development, maintenance and modernization of existing solutions from start.

It will be a significant advantage if the candidate has knowledge of financial companies and very preferably the debt-collection area or similar financial domains. Insight into complex business rules, debt calculations, interest, cost management and debtor processes will be given considerable weight.

Experience with AI-assisted code conversion and modernization of older applications is also regarded as a significant strength, as the area is expected to be further developed and modernized over the coming years.

As a secondary competency, the candidate is expected to have experience with Java development, preferably based on Quarkus and/or Spring, as the task also includes development of integration- and service-oriented solutions on a modern technology platform.

The consultant is expected to

• Have solid experience with Delphi development.
• Have experience with Java development, preferably based on Quarkus and/or Spring.
• Be able to quickly understand existing solutions, architecture and business processes.
• Work independently and take responsibility for progress and deliverables.
• Have experience from the financial sector, preferably within debt collection.
• Have knowledge of Bankdata or similar financial IT environments.
• Have experience with, or documented interest in, AI-assisted code conversion and application modernization.
