What are we looking for?

We are seeking ambitious students in frontend development for our digital design department who want a 3-month internship in connection with their studies at either UCL or the University of Southern Denmark. We are looking for someone who wants to specialize in frontend development and who wants to spend 3 months sharpening exactly that.

We have internship starts 2x annually - in August and January. All our internships are min. 3 months in duration.

Who are you?

You are an aspiring digital talent who wants to experience the reality in your field. You are ambitious and eager to improve in your field. You know what you can do, and you are open about what you feel you lack in your skill set. Most importantly, you are passionate about frontend development and know that this is what you want to specialize in.

In addition, you are a social person who wants to join a great community - both in the development department and in Morningtrain as a whole.

What can you do?

As students we know you haven’t had many opportunities yet to truly show how far your abilities stretch in practical situations. We do, however, expect;

• You are able to juggle multiple projects at once
• You are able to analyze complex things but explain them so that everyone can understand them
• You are able to be a good team player who supports and helps your team
• You have a solid professional foundation in frontend development
• You have a strong desire to learn and become better at your specialty

If you are applying for the position as frontend developer , it is also important that you have knowledge of:

• HTML, CSS (We use SASS), JS and PHP
• Advantage to have knowledge of WordPress as CMS
• Advantage to have knowledge of React
• Experience in setting up websites from a design file using the above technologies.

What tasks will you solve with us?

At Morningtrain your internship consists of

• Smaller internal projects for Morningtrain
• Opportunity to try your hand at client projects towards the end of the program under close sparring and quality assurance from your mentor

All of it in dialogue with our specialists in frontend development.
