Physics and Mathematics Teacher with an Interest in Outdoor Life at Strandby School

We are seeking an engaged teacher for Strandby School with commencement on 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. If you can start earlier, that is also an option.

We need a flexible and academically strong teacher who can lead to the physics/chemistry examination, teach mathematics at the middle school level, and oversee our outdoor elective.

Your view of children should be resource-oriented, and you should take pride in meeting the students where they are, academically, socially and developmentally. We place emphasis on you wanting to actively engage in collaboration with students, colleagues and parents.

About Strandby School

Strandby School is a two-track school with about 430 pupils from 0th to 9th grade and around 45 staff members.

We are a developing school with a good working environment. We prioritize a culture where staff and management speak openly about both what works and the challenges we face in daily life. There should be room for professionalism, diversity and trying out new things.

Our approach to school development is rooted in the local and relational. At the same time, we emphasize being in close interaction with the local community and the world around us.

And we have some very special settings: Strandby School is located only 100 meters from both forest and beach, which provides good opportunities to bring the surroundings into play during the school day – not least in outdoor.

If you would like to become part of the team, we look forward to receiving your application.

Children's and criminal records checks will be obtained in connection with the employment.

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement.
