Stigsborg Skole is seeking a qualified physics/chemistry and mathematics teacher for the lower secondary

The position is a permanent 37-hour role, and up until the summer you will be linked to the 6th grade. It is important that you can see yourself teaching in the lower secondary going forward, and the plan is for you to follow the 6th grade into the lower secondary next school year.

Your job

We are seeking a physics/chemistry- and mathematics-teacher who is passionate about delivering motivating, playful, varied and meaningful teaching for all our students. You will become part of a team for the 6th grade together with 4 other teachers. You will therefore participate in a close, committed and open team collaboration around teaching, learning and well-being.

In August 2025 we moved into the newly built Stigsborg School on the harbor front in Nørresundby, designed for our vision of learning and learning environments. You should identify with Stigsborg School's core values: Recognition, openness and integrity, which are naturally integrated into the daily life of the school.

A playful approach to learning is also a cornerstone of our view on learning and development. This takes place, among other things, in our “Play Space,” where play and technology merge.

We prioritize time for joint preparation, meetings and evaluation. We know that no teacher works alone, which is why guidance, observation and reflection are a natural part of our everyday life.

All teachers at the school are ambassadors for a group of children. The primary goal of this task is to ensure that all children have an adult who supports them in their social, personal and academic development. The ambassador maintains close contact with the home and develops and continuously updates action plans for the pupils.

Salary and terms

According to current collective agreement with employment from 1 January 2027. The position is a permanent 37-hour contract.
