About the job

Do you want to work with rehabilitation as an integrated part of citizens' everyday lives? Then the opportunity is approaching when the Health and Care Placements in Skanderborg, as of January 1, 2027, become part of Citizen-Centred Health under Horsens Regional Hospital.

We are seeking a physiotherapist who is motivated by complex citizen pathways, strong cross-disciplinary collaboration, and the possibility to make a real difference for citizens' functional ability, independence and quality of life.

Be part of creating something new

Citizen-Centred Health has been established as part of the health reform and will take on new regional tasks close to citizens. The Health and Care Placements will become an important part of this development, where we will create cohesive pathways for citizens with complex needs.

As a physiotherapist you will play a central role in building the rehabilitative effort. You will become part of a multidisciplinary environment where the citizen's goals, resources and possibilities to master their own life are the focal point of our work. Daily you will work closely with therapy colleagues, nurses, social and health care assistants and doctors.

We work from a rehabilitative approach, where training and development of functional capacity does not only take place in planned training situations, but is an integrated part of the entire stay. Therefore you will be an important teammate in holistic care.

Your tasks will include

  • Physiotherapeutic examinations, assessments and treatment interventions
  • Recovery and rehabilitation based on the citizen's goals, resources and rehabilitation potential
  • Assessment of functional capacity, mobility and need for aids
  • Active participation in cross-disciplinary meetings and planning of cohesive citizen pathways
  • Professional sparring and guidance to colleagues in the rehabilitative effort
  • Documentation, quality assurance and development of high professional quality
  • Close collaboration with citizens, relatives and external partners
  • Contributing to the development of new work processes and forms of collaboration in an organization under development

We expect that you

  • Have an eye for the citizen's resources, goals and possibilities
  • see the value in cross-disciplinary collaboration and actively contribute to joint solutions
  • Communicate clearly and create security for citizens and relatives
  • Are curious, engaged and focused on high professional quality
  • Would like to help develop future citizen-centred health services
  • Experience with rehabilitation, re-training, hospital or acute care is an advantage but not a requirement.

Why you should choose us

With us you get the opportunity to become part of a strong cross-disciplinary team with high ambitions on behalf of the citizens.

We offer

  • A strong cross-disciplinary collaboration with nurses, therapists, doctors and other partners
  • An evolving workplace with a high degree of influence
  • Professional sparring, competence development and good development opportunities
  • A working environment characterized by collaboration, engagement and good humor
  • Close collaboration with hospital, general practice and municipal actors

Employment terms

The position is 37 hours per week.

The Health and Care Placements are an offer to citizens every day of the week. Physiotherapists will therefore in due course be included in planned daytime coverage on weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Employment is conditional on satisfactory authorization and a child protection clearance.
