About the job

Would you like to help create an overview, momentum and strong collaborations across one of the state’s most complex organizations?

In the Development and Simplification Agency, we are seeking a generalist who is eager to work with cross-cutting process management, coordination and management support within supervision and audits.

Your role

You will become part of the Office for Inspections and Audits, which supports and coordinates audits and inspections across the agency. The office serves as the hub for audits and inspections carried out by the National Audit Office, the Tax and Growth Ministry’s Corporate Audit, and IT Oversight.

You will play a central role in creating progress and coordination in tasks with high managerial and political attention, and you will work closely with both management, the ministry, audit and supervisory authorities, and many different professional areas in the organization.

Your tasks will include among others

  • coordinate cross-cutting audit and supervision processes and ensure progress in deliverables
  • support dialogue and cooperation with internal and external partners
  • prepare notes, meeting materials and briefings for management
  • create structure and overview in tasks with many stakeholders and tight deadlines
  • contribute to communication and involvement across the organization.

You can expect to take on challenging tasks and have the opportunity to influence the way tasks are solved and to develop professionally.

Who are you?

We are seeking candidates with a master's degree in social sciences, economics or the humanities with several years of experience with similar tasks within coordination and management support, preferably in the public sector or a municipality.

It is advantageous, but not required, that you

  • have experience in risk management
  • have experience with management reporting
  • have experience in driving complex processes.

We expect that you

  • work in a structured way and are good at creating momentum
  • communicate clearly and professionally – both verbally and in writing
  • thrive in collaboration with many different people and disciplines
  • take responsibility and follow tasks through to completion
  • have a desire to learn new things and develop yourself in the role.

What do we offer?

With us you will get

  • a steep learning curve and own areas of responsibility
  • experience with management support and cross-cutting governance in the state
  • a strong professional community with helpful colleagues
  • a everyday work with great variation and many collaboration interfaces
  • flexibility and a good balance between work and leisure.

We place emphasis on sparring, collaboration and an informal tone, where we help each other and succeed together, and we focus on your development. The position is, among other things, a good opportunity to develop your competencies in relation to process management, governance, management support and development tasks in the state.
