About the job
Do you want to make a difference – also for the future SOSU workers?
Home- and Nursing Care Brovst is seeking a social- and health care assistant with an interest in becoming an apprentice supervisor.
We are not just looking for a social- and health care assistant.
We are looking for you who can feel the difference between a good day and a really good day – and who knows that both parts usually start with presence, professionalism, and a smile.
With us, the citizen is always at the center. We believe that the best solutions are created through collaboration, respect, helpfulness, and a healthy dose of humor. We pull together and use each other’s professional knowledge to create security, quality, and coherence in the citizens’ everyday lives.
We place emphasis on continuity, presence and professional sparring, because we know that it makes a difference – both for the citizens and for us who go to work every day.
A daily life with professionalism, responsibility and meaning
As a social- and health care assistant you will have an important role in the citizens’ everyday life. You will carry out care and treatment tasks with a focus on quality, dignity and the individual citizen’s needs.
You will become part of a close interdisciplinary collaboration, where we together create wholeness in the citizens’ pathways. Here there is space to bring your professional skills into play, to share experiences, ask questions and develop together.
And then we have an extra exciting opportunity for you who want to make a difference for others beyond the citizens.
We are looking for a colleague who wants to develop in the role as an apprentice supervisor and help give our upcoming SOSU colleagues a good and secure start to their professional journey.
As an apprentice supervisor you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge, make your experience available and help shape the future social- and health care workers. You are not alone with the task, but become part of a professional community with sparring and collaboration with your supervising colleagues.
Who are you?
You are
- Certified as a social- and health care assistant.
- Able to work independently and at the same time thrive in close collaboration with colleagues.
- Meeting citizens, learners and colleagues with respect, empathy and curiosity.
- Interested in teaching and contributing to our learners developing professionally and personally.
- Primarily want day shifts with some fixed evening shifts, or primarily evening shifts
You do not need to know it all from day one. The most important is that you want to make a difference, are curious about your own professionalism and have the courage to develop together with us.
What will you get with us?
We offer you a workplace where there is room for both professional development, good laughter and new ideas.
You will among other things receive
- Flexibility: Permanent position of 37 hours per week – or a number of hours that suits you better.
- A daily life with variety: Primarily day shifts with some fixed evening shifts, or primarily evening shifts.
- Influence on your own work schedule: We are in the process of implementing a dialog-based work schedule, where you together with your colleagues get even greater influence than before.
- Opportunity for professional deepening: You can develop your competencies and obtain roles within areas of particular interest such as dementia, continence, hygiene or palliation.
- An exciting mentoring role: Mentor education and possibility to work with our SOSU students.
- A good start: An individually tailored introductory program with ongoing follow-up from your manager.
We are an organization in development, where your experiences, ideas and professional perspectives are valuable. You will have the opportunity to influence both workflows and the professional direction, while we together work for a safe and positive working environment with focus on well-being and competence development.
We want to create a daily life where you want to go to work, feel that your effort makes a difference, and have the opportunity to grow – both professionally and personally.
Shall we meet?
