Hardware Implementation Specialist (Senior Consultant)

Do you want to work with the implementation and commissioning of data center and infrastructure equipment for some of Denmark's most exciting customers?

On behalf of Atea, we are seeking an experienced and technically strong Hardware Implementation Specialist who will be responsible for the implementation, commissioning and deployment of server, storage and network solutions. You will work with technologies from, among others, HPE, Dell Technologies, IBM, Lenovo and Cisco and become an important part of the delivery from planning to handover.

THE POSITION

You will be responsible for ensuring that deliveries are implemented professionally, documented and in accordance with the customers' requirements and expectations.

Your tasks will include, among others

• Rack & Stack of servers, storage and network equipment
• Labeling and documentation of hardware, cables and installations
• Cabling of power and network connections and verification of correct installation
• Firmware and software updates on server, storage and network platforms
• Configuration and preparation of hardware solutions
• Installation, upgrade and replacement of existing infrastructure
• Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation
• Preparation of time estimates and implementation plans
• Troubleshooting and quality assurance of deliveries before handover to the customer
• Technical sparring with customers, colleagues and partners

You will also actively participate in the solution design phase in close collaboration with the company's Solution Advisors. Here you contribute your practical and technical experience to ensure that the chosen solutions can be implemented efficiently and support the customer's needs. You contribute to sizing and dimensioning of server, storage and network solutions, assess technical requirements and implementation implications and contribute with experience in installation, migration and operation. In addition, you participate in the preparation of technical solution proposals and implementation strategies.

The position involves travel in connection with installations, upgrades and customer projects. Periodic travel nationally and, to a lesser extent, internationally must be expected.

THE CANDIDATE

We expect that you have experience with installation and implementation of enterprise hardware and have worked with products from HPE, Dell Technologies, IBM, Lenovo and/or Cisco.

You have experience with data center infrastructure, servers, storage and networks and you work in a structured way with documentation of your work. At the same time you are used to customer contact and can communicate professionally at all levels.

It is important that you can work independently and at the same time be part of a strong team. You master Danish and English in both writing and speech.

Furthermore you maintain existing manufacturer certifications and are willing to cover several manufacturers and products.

The role requires that you are security cleared or have the possibility to obtain it.
