Who we are looking for

We are seeking a profile that

• Has completed or is about to complete HD(R)
• Has experience from the auditing industry and can work independently from the start
• You have responsibility for your own cases and follow them through all phases
• Are keen to live and work in Nuuk for at least one year

With a fjord view in Nuuk your everyday could look like this

You will become part of a smaller office with around 12 colleagues, all living in Nuuk. Some were born and raised in Greenland, while others have come here from Denmark and have lived in Greenland for a total of 1-25 years. We work with both private and public auditing as well as advisory services, where we advise both Greenlandic companies and Danish companies with activities in Greenland.

The BDO office is centrally located in the city, and from the office you have a view of the Godthåbsfjorden. It is therefore part of the workday when the light and weather shift over the mountains outside the windows.

At the same time you are still in the middle of the city with the rest of the 20,000 inhabitants. Here you will find cafes, restaurants, shopping and cultural offerings within a short distance, so everyday life works completely normally, even though the surroundings are something quite different from Denmark. Nature, however, is always close by. The mountains and the sea lie just outside the city, and you quickly sense that the framework for both work and leisure is different here in Nuuk.

A snapshot of your responsibilities

Depending on where you are in your career, and what motivates you, you can look forward to participating in the client process all the way and to tasks such as:

• Audit and review of financial statements for small and medium-sized businesses
• Assistance with the preparation of annual financial statements
• Ongoing dialogue with clients and participation in client meetings
• Participation in the entire process from planning to final reporting
• The same systems and professional standards as in the rest of BDO
• Close cooperation in a small team, where your contribution is visible
• A client portfolio with both local companies and larger players
• Opportunity to develop quickly, because you are given responsibility early
