A newly created position in a growing area

Today we are a team of five experienced and highly specialized nurses with many years of experience in the area and largely have been self-led. On September 1 and October 1, two new nurses will join the team as part of the expansion of the area.

The work in the apheresis unit includes, among other things

  • Harvesting both patients and donors - children as well as adults
  • Pre-assessments of healthy stem cell donors
  • Education in patient education in groups as well as individually
  • Administrative tasks related to the treatments

The pathways can be short or longer and require close collaboration between several professional groups.

About the position

As Chief Nurse you will be responsible for both operations, development and staff management in the apheresis unit.

You will receive thorough training in the specialty and are also expected to actively participate in clinical operations.

Your tasks will include, among others

  • Collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Facilitation and development of workflows
  • Holding performance and development interviews (MUS) for 7 employees
  • Holding internal meetings
  • Preparation for and participation in inspections and audits
  • Focus on well-being and a good working environment

We are looking for a Chief Nurse who

  • Has broad clinical experience
  • Has experience with the health platform and IT
  • Has a good overview and can prioritize in a busy daily routine
  • Has strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Is approachable, engaged and service-minded
  • Contributes actively to quality work and development
  • Thrives in interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Can operate in English
  • Values a good working environment highly
  • Has leadership experience/education at least at diploma level

We offer

  • A daily life with varied tasks and engaged colleagues
  • A highly specialized area in development
  • A team of experienced and skilled nurses
  • Thorough training in the specialty
  • Training in ultrasound-guided placement of PVK

As a rule there is time off on weekends and holidays. There may be extra work on weekdays and in the future a late shift once a week should be expected.
