Are you eager to lead the construction of a new health service as OUH, from 1 January 2027 as part of the Health Reform, will operate health and care facilities for citizens who for a period need healthcare support, treatment and rehabilitation, but not hospitalization in a hospital.

As the head of the health and care facilities (SOP) in Nyborg you will play a central role in transforming and further developing the current temporary facilities into health and care facilities. You will have the opportunity to shape both the professional direction and daily life together with staff, managerial colleagues and partners.

Citizen-Centered Health is a new department at Odense University Hospital, which will strengthen the local health services and bring treatment, care and rehabilitation closer to citizens’ everyday lives.

From 1 January 2027 we will be responsible for the regional health and care facilities and emergency nursing in eight municipalities on Funen. The task must be solved in close cooperation with municipalities, hospitals and other partners.

As a leader you will be part of a new leadership community, where we together shall shape and develop the area.

  • set the direction for culture, professionalism and collaboration

  • recruit staff and help build the right competencies
  • create a solid foundation for daily operations, quality and patient safety
  • ensure alignment between capacity, flow and citizens’ needs

We emphasize that you

  • can provide direction, structure and buy-in
  • are present and good at creating engagement and strong relationships
  • thrive in both staff leadership, development and daily operations
  • are strong in multidisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration
  • can maintain an overview and make decisions in a daily life where frameworks and workflows are still under development

Experience from municipal nursing, citizen-centered health or regional operations is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.

With us you get

  • opportunity to set direction and have influence from the start
  • opportunity to shape culture, professionalism and workflows
  • a new leadership community with close sparring and collaboration
