Head Waiter at Peter Lieps Hus

Do you want to help create great guest experiences in the middle of Dyrehaven – and at the same time be an important part of a new team?

Peter Lieps Hus is looking for a head waiter who wants to take responsibility for daily service and be a visible part of the team on the floor.

As head waiter you will be the restaurant manager's closest sparring partner in daily operations. You will help set the direction during service and create calm, overview and a good atmosphere – for both guests and colleagues.

There has been guesthouse activity at the edge of the woods by Dyrehaven for more than 100 years. Peter Liep was a hunter and the first innkeeper of the place, and the story remains an important part of the house.

Today Peter Lieps Hus has been fully renovated and stands bright and modern in the green surroundings close to Klampenborg Station.

The kitchen is a modern and updated open kitchen, where we build on Danish traditions – and the ambition in both kitchen and restaurant is high.

Your restaurant manager

Your restaurant manager will be Yoann Apatore , who has more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry.

He has among others worked at Pate Pate and Hotel SP34, helped open Aamanns in Skuespilhuset, and during his career has been responsible for a number of larger events – including for the Queen’s 50-year reign jubilee.

“We are a new team with high ambitions and an informal, down-to-earth atmosphere. We want to deliver service at a high level – without becoming stiff or ceremonial.

I am personally very close to the team and work on the floor five days a week. For me, it is important that we help each other, get along well, and create a workplace where there is room for both personality and professionalism.

We meet our guests personally and informally when the situation invites it. And we like to know what we serve – both when it comes to the food, the wines and the story of the house we work in.”

Practical

Position: Full-time as head waiter

Salary: From 31,000 DKK + pension and health scheme

Overtime: Compensated as time off

You must be able to communicate with both guests and colleagues in Danish and English.
