We are 11 employees plus a leader of the daycare area and a center director who work closely together across professional disciplines and competencies in our center. Our collaboration is characterized by trust, with room for diversity and new ideas.

The Center for Daycare and School supports and develops the municipality's public schools, daycare facilities, special education and UiH Youth School. At the same time we serve the political committees and handle the overall administration in the area.

What are we looking for?

In this position you come close to both the political decision-making arena and the day-to-day life in the municipality's schools and daycare facilities. You collaborate with colleagues in the center, across the municipality, as well as with managers, leaders and staff in the school and daycare sector.

A central part of the role is to coordinate the preparation of political case materials for the school and daycare area. The task includes both ongoing political matters for the Children and School Committee and the budget material for the Municipal Council in connection with the annual budget process.

In addition, you will play a central role in development and implementation projects in the children and youth area. Projects can include:

• Strengthening the transition between daycare and school
• Implementation of a new structure for the municipality's SFO and club offerings
• Support for schools’ work with inclusion and special education

We are open to tailoring tasks to best match your competencies and experiences.

We are looking for a consultant who

• Has a relevant academic education and preferably experience with or knowledge of the children and youth sector
• Can create an overview and ensure progress in many simultaneous tasks and processes
• Can collaborate with different disciplines and communicate clearly and professionally
• Can drive projects and navigate in a politically driven organization
• Is analytically strong, reflective and formulates clearly and precisely in political briefing materials

Hørsholm Town Hall is located right next to the Helsingør motorway. We have good parking facilities with charging stations and well-functioning train and bus connections to the town hall.

The position is 37 hours with start as soon as possible or 1 January 2027. The position is a fixed-term contract until 1 December 2027.
