Hospice Djursland is seeking a nurse for a permanent position of 32-34 hours/week from January 1, 2027

Hospice Djursland has capacity for 15 patients, and our core task is to provide an interdisciplinary, palliative specialist effort at a high professional level, to people with an incurable disease and complex palliative issues. At Hospice Djursland we work from the hospice philosophy, where we in good settings address the patient's psychological, physical, social and spiritual/existential problems.

Desired qualifications

• Interest and preferably experience in palliation, rehabilitation, oncology, lung diseases
• You are a listening and reflective person as well as creative and flexible in daily task solving
• You are patient and have a desire to work with family dynamics
• Skilled at creating good collaborative relationships
• Strength in communication and documentation

Working hours

Working hours will be day, evening and night. We strive for a 2-shift system. We use the wish planning MinTid with the possibility to influence your own shift plan via wishes to our shift planner. We work every 3rd weekend, and there are 8- and 12-hour shifts on weekends.

A common hospice

Hospice Djursland and Strandbakkehuset Children and Youth Hospice operate as one common hospice with shared functions. This means that you are primarily employed at Hospice Djursland, but may be asked to assist your colleagues at the child and youth hospice as the 2nd person. You will be introduced to the tasks.
