Are you smiling, service‑minded and good at creating an overview – even when the restaurant is busy?

Then you might be the one we are looking for as our new host/hostess with leadership responsibility at SteakeRiet.

As a host/hostess you are the restaurant’s outward face. You are the first our guests meet, and you help ensure that they have a good experience from the moment they step in the door until they leave.

About the job

You will play a central role in daily operations and become part of our leadership team. You will among other things be responsible for:

• Welcoming our guests with a smile and ensuring a good start to the visit
• Having an overview of reservations, table plan and flow in the restaurant
• Coordinating and allocating guests and tables
• Ensuring good collaboration between host/hostess, waitstaff and kitchen
• Handling guests’ questions and requests in a professional and accommodating manner
• Taking responsibility for the restaurant and the staff on your shifts
• Maintaining calm and overview – even when it’s busy
• Helping ensure that our service and guest experience standards are followed

Your shifts

The position is, as a rule, permanent

Every 2nd Monday & Thursday and every 2nd Saturday

sourced as reliever in connection with holidays and illness .

The working hours are from 3:30 PM until the restaurant closes .

It is a part‑time job, and there is plenty of opportunity for more hours as a waiter on the other days... Perfect as a student job or supplementary job.

You will therefore have an important role on the evenings when the restaurant is busy, and when there is a need for someone who can take responsibility and create structure.

We expect that you

• Have a natural flair for hosting and good guest contact
• Are responsible and can work independently
• Have a good overview and can make decisions when it gets busy
• Are clear and good at communicating with both guests and colleagues
• Want to take on leadership responsibility and lead by example
• Are flexible and reliable
• Can contribute to a good atmosphere – even on busy evenings

The most important for us is not necessarily many years of experience, but that you have the right drive, overview and willingness to take responsibility .
