Coop Danmark A/S seeks an intern for Product Responsibility & Quality for Spring 2027

If you are interested in product safety, sustainability and responsible value chains, then you are exactly who we are looking for as an intern in Product Responsibility & Quality at Coop Danmark A/S.

With nearly 900 stores and about 39,000 employees, Coop Danmark A/S is one of Denmark’s largest companies. As a retailer, we are a big part of Danes’ daily lives and we have a strong vision to create a better and more sustainable everyday life for the Danish people.

You will become part of the team in Product Responsibility & Quality at the head office in Albertslund. We are an engaged team that is passionate about sustainability, and we achieve results through strong collaboration, shared responsibility and good humor.

Our internship program is designed to combine learning with practical experience. You will be assigned a personal professional internship supervisor who ensures you have a proper and structured program. The internship period ideally runs until the summer, but can be adapted to study commitments and offers good opportunities for hybrid work.

As an intern you will be part of the team’s daily work and will have the opportunity to translate your theoretical knowledge into practice. You will, among other things:

  • Gain insight into working with supplier requirements, compliance and quality assurance and contribute to supplier follow-up, compliance checks and documentation processes.
  • Participate in the work on risk assessments of products and suppliers and develop an understanding of how companies work with responsible value chains and compliance.
  • Contribute to development and optimization of internal systems, processes and working methods.
  • Support the implementation of new legislation within sustainability, product safety and gain hands-on experience with how regulatory requirements are translated into concrete solutions.
  • Participate in internal meetings and collaborate with colleagues across the organization, which will give you insight into the interaction between sustainability, compliance and business.
  • Participate in external networks and industry forums, where you gain insight into current agendas and upcoming legislation in the field.
  • Contribute to communication about sustainability initiatives and compliance-related topics.
  • Have the opportunity to influence your tasks and develop professionally through an internship with responsibility, mentoring and ongoing learning.

We are looking for interns starting early 2027 and are flexible regarding educational conditions for the internship. We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis, so apply early if you are interested in becoming part of Your & My Coop.

Submit your motivated CV via our online application form. The application deadline is 20 November 2026.

If you have questions, you are welcome to contact Team Leader Louisa Raith at phone: +45 51 59 31 54 or email: [email protected]

At Coop we work from clear narratives about quality, responsibility and community. This means we take responsibility for our decisions, work together across the organization to achieve the best results, and we believe that quality arises when we share knowledge, lift together and take joint responsibility.

Coop is one of Denmark’s leading providers of groceries. We operate the chains SuperBrugsen, Kvickly, Brugsen and 365discount. We are about 40,000 employees and together with the consumer cooperatives we have a combined revenue of more than 40 billion DKK in our approximately 900 stores across Denmark. Therefore there are many opportunities for both new tasks and education and not least internal job changes within Coop. We are owned by our 2 million members and the cooperative energy company OK.

We are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse environment, and we actively seek qualified candidates regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, disability or age. For us it is about lifting together and creating frameworks where there is room for difference, professionalism, and quality in what we deliver – with a shared responsibility for each other, for society and for the future.

In addition, we aim to create equal opportunities for all and ensure an efficient and fair recruitment process. It is therefore up to you whether you want to attach a cover letter and a photo.
