Would you like an internship that gives you both academic challenges, hands-on experience and a strong sense of community? As an intern at LINAK you will become part of a unique intern network and have the opportunity to work professionally with production in an international company.

Each semester we welcome 20–25 interns from different study directions. You will become part of the LINAK family and work closely with skilled colleagues. There are opportunities to work on both larger and smaller tasks, all arising from real problems in value-adding projects.

About the internship – production

We are looking for interns for production who want to work with optimization, automation and development of future production solutions.

As an intern in production, you can have the opportunity to work with the entire value chain – from analysis and development to implementation and follow-up. You will become part of a dynamic and targeted product line, where innovation, new thinking and continuous improvements are in focus.

The tasks may include

• development, specification and commissioning of process and production equipment
• quality assurance, rationalization and optimization of production processes
• flow and layout optimization in production cells
• analysis of material flow and minimization of stops in production
• use of LEAN tools such as SMED, 5S and Kaizen
• support to daily operations and optimization of automation equipment
• work with CAD, 3D printing and digital solutions
• project roles related to e.g. implementation of AGV, robotics & automation
• work with technologies such as machine learning & AI, sensors & IoT and edge computing

In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in development projects related to both changes to existing products and introduction of new products. Here you will work with selecting a production strategy, process design and industrialization. Projects are tailored to your qualifications and interests, and you will experience a daily life characterized by collaboration, knowledge sharing and practical challenges.

About you

To create the best possible match, we would like to know what motivates you about production. You do not need to know it all in advance – the most important thing is that you:

• are enrolled in a relevant education, e.g., production engineer, marine engineer and similar
• see opportunities rather than limitations
• desire practical experience and a steep learning curve
• have a positive and approachable attitude
• can see issues from several perspectives
• are motivated by professional challenges
• can speak and understand Danish at a basic level
