With our around 3,000 employees, Deloitte Denmark is the largest auditing and advisory firm. We tailor solutions across audit, tax, financial advisory, enterprise risk services, technology and transformations.

You work in a medium-sized or larger Danish company, it is day two and again you are behind with the reporting. Again there wasn’t time for the identified process improvements. Yes, in fact the plans for the future finance function are ready. You have suggested which process changes would make next month’s close easier, but then it became business as usual, and time was spent on daily operations, and before you knew it, it was day two again.

What can you expect as a consultant at Deloitte?

In the role of Senior Consultant you will collaborate with our clients to develop their finance function, which involves a broad range of tasks from optimizing daily operations to developing financial strategies for the finance function of the future. In the role of Senior Consultant you will work closely with other experienced colleagues, who will contribute with experience and learning in solving tasks.

Additionally you will participate in an internal training program that is based on your experience and your skills. Consulting Academy focuses on preparing you for work as a senior consultant, while Finance Transformation Academy is tailored for consultants who want to work with accounting and financial tasks in daily work.

We operate from both Copenhagen and Aarhus, which means the position can be filled from either location.

Exciting tasks await you

From your first day, you will work as a consultant for our clients. Based on the client's needs, as well as your experience and skills, the tasks typically include:

• Assist and advise in the client's finance and accounting functions
• Mapping and optimizing core processes within finance and accounting processes, including through AI
• KPI- and management reporting using, for example, Power BI
• Development of methods or models that streamline the client's day-to-day or can form the basis for strategic decisions
• Transformation of financial functions and development of financial strategies

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are motivated by creating success in collaboration with colleagues and clients

In addition, we expect you to meet the following requirements

• Have a Master’s degree, such as cand.merc.aud or equivalent, as well as 2-6 years of professional experience.
• Have experience with a monthly close and an annual close process, and input on how such a process can run in the best possible way.
• Have experience from a consulting or auditing firm
• Are approachable and good at communicating clearly and effectively across different levels in an organization.
• Are a team player, with an analytical mindset and good humor.
