Issø School, Kirkeby Department, is seeking a dedicated assistant for our after-school program (SFO).

At Issø-skolen, Kirkeby division, we are looking for an engaged assistant for our after-school program in a fixed-term position of 25 hours per week until August 1st.

About the position

You will become part of our after-school program, where you help create a safe and meaningful everyday life for the children.

We need extra hands in everyday life so that together we can give the children the best possible support and attention. You will among other things help to support the pedagogues in their work and contribute to ensuring there is time and capacity to see each individual child and its needs.

There will also be the possibility of substitute hours in the school part.

You do not need to know everything in advance; the most important is that you meet the children with interest, patience and a desire to make a difference.

At the Kirkeby division we are committed to creating exciting and varied activities where the children can explore their interests, use their imagination and experience the joy of creating something together.

We are among other things in the process of developing our new carving workshop, where children can work with wood, natural materials and crafts. Here you will have the opportunity to help develop and implement activities where creativity, immersion and good shared experiences are in the center.

It is advantageous if you have experience with children or pedagogical work, but not a requirement. We are also open to you who want to gain experience within the pedagogical field.

Working hours and employment

The position is 25 hours per week and is fixed-term until 1 August 2027 .

The work will primarily be in our after-school program, but there may also be opportunities for substitute hours in the school part.

Commencement by agreement.

Salary and terms of employment follow applicable collective agreement.

In Svendborg Municipality, the pay for this type of position typically ranges between 26,271 and 39,580 DKK per month for full-time employment. The salary includes pension, special holiday allowance and fixed allowances. There may also be shift allowances and other special remunerations. It is important to note that your exact salary is determined by your experience, seniority and competencies and negotiated with the relevant trade union.
