You will work with modern open source technologies such as RabbitMQ, Ceph, OpenSearch, APISIX, Grafana and OpenBao in an environment where stable operation, security and technical curiosity go hand in hand.

We are seeking candidates with different professional strengths. The most important thing is that you have solid experience with Linux operations and system administration and an interest in or experience with some of our technologies. We do not expect one person to cover the entire technology stack.

It is an advantage if you have experience with one or more of the following technologies and platforms:

  • Linux servers

  • APISIX

Your responsibilities include

You will become part of IT-service in the Department of IT and Digitalisation. The positions are newly established, and you will work with both traditional Linux server environments and modern open source platforms.

Your daily work includes planned maintenance, technical troubleshooting and handling of urgent incidents. When something goes wrong, you help restore operations and find a lasting solution.

The focus is primarily on stable operations and troubleshooting, but also on ongoing improvements, automation and optimization of the platforms.

Your tasks include, among others

  • Operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of Linux platforms, applications and related services
  • Monitoring of systems and identification of recurring faults and incidents
  • Implementation of security improvements and remediation of identified vulnerabilities
  • Automation and standardisation of operations tasks, including through scripting
  • Operations and fault handling within DNS, networks and DHCP
  • Documentation of solutions, changes and procedures
  • Collaboration with suppliers and internal teams on operations and fault remediation

We place emphasis on

You have solid experience with Linux operations and system administration and can independently investigate and solve technical problems.

You work in a structured manner, document your work and incorporate IT security into daily operations. At the same time you collaborate professionally with colleagues, suppliers and other domains, also when an incident requires quick action.

Experience with Bash, automation, application operations, ITIL or one or more of the mentioned technologies is an advantage. Please tell us which areas you have experience with, and where you would like to develop.
