About the job

Would you like to work with secure operations and development of research platforms? Do you have experience with Linux, Kubernetes or automation and a desire to shape a new section?

A organization on the way to something new

The Danish Health Data Authority will from 2027 be part of Digital Health Denmark together with sundhed.dk, MedCom and a number of common national IT tasks from the regions. Digital Health Denmark will become a nationwide organization that aims to strengthen digital development and ensure better coherence in the health system.

The organization must ensure a common direction, better use of health data and development of digital solutions that support citizens and health professionals across the country. The establishment means new colleagues, collaborations and opportunities in a strong professional community.

About Application Development and Operations

Application Development and Operations (AUD) is a new section responsible for creating coherence between development, transition to operations, stable operation and further development of central technical services. We work, among other things, with secure data processing environments that support researchers' access to and use of health data. You will become part of a section under construction and will have the opportunity to influence our technical solutions and ways of working.

Your everyday life with us

You will play a central role in the operation and further development of our technical research and data platforms. The environments include, among other things, Microsoft- and Linux-based platforms, virtual environments and container-based application delivery with Kubernetes. You will work closely with developers, architects, Product Owners and other technical specialists across the organization.

Your main tasks: You contribute to ensuring stable daily operations through monitoring, troubleshooting, technical support and continuous improvements. You work with automation of recurring operational tasks as well as development and maintenance of platforms and applications. The tasks also include deployment, monitoring, logging, performance, patching and lifecycle management.

You contribute to documentation and standardization of technical solutions and operational processes and participate in the transition of new solutions from development to stable operations. At the same time, you help further develop our DevOps and automation practices, including CI/CD.

Your education, experience and personal qualifications

We imagine that you have a relevant technical background and experience with operations and development of complex IT environments. You have preferably worked with Linux- and Microsoft-based platforms, virtual infrastructures and container technologies such as Kubernetes.

It is an advantage if you have experience with automation, scripting, CI/CD and DevOps as well as monitoring, logging and technical troubleshooting. We also welcome familiarity with ITSM processes and ITIL, including incident-, problem- and change management.

You do not need to know everything from the start. We value solid technical understanding, curiosity, independence and the ability to collaborate across platform, application and operations.

We offer

We are a new section where you will have the opportunity to shape both technical solutions, processes and the way we organize operations and development. You will become part of a professional environment with close collaboration across disciplines.

We are located in historic surroundings together with Statens Serum Institut, 10 minutes by bike from City Hall Square. We have abundant free parking spaces.

Social interaction is highly valued in the agency, and we have an active staff association with clubs such as running club and wine club. There is also a fitness center, gym and tennis court available to the agency's employees.

We are not wage-leading, but we value our working time and generally do not expect you to work more than agreed in your contract. There is an option to arrange remote work, but we also place a high value on presence with colleagues because it provides better conditions for professional sparring, knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Competence development is a focus area, and you will have the opportunity to strengthen and develop your skills through internal and external courses.
