Job advisor for a meaningful employment effort

Become part of a dedicated team that supports citizens over 30 on cash assistance and resource pathway benefits toward work or education. As a job advisor you will have a diverse daily routine including, among other things, outreach to companies, social work assessments, establishment of part-time work, decisions and roundtable discussions.

In the labor market area of Viborg Municipality, we operate from the Viborg model , which entails a strong focus on quality in the employment effort. This includes all employees working with a number of professional benchmarks and guidelines for good employment professionalism, which among other things help ensure a coherent, resource-focused and holistic effort.

We practice citizen involvement so that the citizen helps shape content and direction and experiences a coherent effort that enables them to act according to their own meaningful goals. Methodologically, we work with a coaching and solution-focused approach (LØFT) as well as a focus on digital tools.

When you are employed in the labor market area in Viborg Municipality, we expect you to be passionate about helping unemployed citizens move away from public support and to service companies with qualified labor. You have a professional approach to collaboration with citizens and companies and ensure flow and progress.

Team Jobstøtte

Team Jobstøtte Adults consists of 18 employees and collaborates with about 500 citizens. We also handle a cross-cutting IPS effort in psychiatry and test CTI-methodology upon release and transition to work after longer absence.

Our work is particularly characterized by the following

• we have a strong focus on helping citizens to quickly achieve part-time work rather than company internships. This means you must be prepared to prioritize finding the right job match.
• generally focusing on the citizen's resources, development opportunities, and job potential.
• prioritize frequent contact and involve the citizen in My Plan with a focus on job goals and next steps.
• fulfilling both the authority role and the job consultant role in the function as a job advisor. This ensures that knowledge is not lost and that you follow things through from the first interview to employment.
• are a professionally strong team with high job satisfaction, daily sparring (one of the advantages of an open-plan office) and thorough onboarding, so you get up to speed from the start.

We expect that you

• are a social worker, social facilitator or have relevant experience, e.g., as a business consultant.
• enjoy company-focused contacts, digital conversations and administrative tasks in an open-plan office.
• work purposefully with process goals and results without compromising on quality.
• actively contribute to maintaining a good work environment.
• have a driver's license and can participate in meetings with companies and partners.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary is set based on the applicable collective agreement and a concrete assessment of your education, your documented professional experience as well as your professional and personal qualifications.

Before appointment and entering the salary agreement you have the opportunity to receive information about the starting salary for the specific position; Viborg Municipality uses objective and gender-neutral criteria for salary setting in accordance with the rules on equal pay for equal work or work of equal value, and in accordance with the relevant collective agreement.
